Pestera Liliecilor (The bat cave) spelean and bio spelean reservation (in Rarau Massive, Haghimas Mountain) spreads on 6 ha and is considered the greatest cave of gravitational traction in the country. Here, in winter, the largest bat colony seeks shelter from the East side of Romania. Totally, the Pestera Liliecilor harbours 12 species of bats in different periods of the year. Visiting is also forbidden because of the risk of dislocation of the blocks that could put the visitors in danger, but also for not disturbing the bat colonies.
