Hanul Domnesc (The Royal Inn) is one of the cultural objectives of the area and Suceava city. The two floor building was built at the end of the 16th century and the beginning of the 17th century, being destined to accommodate the foreign mandarins, merchants or prominent guests.
Hanul Domnesc changes its destination in 1775, once the North of Moldavia became occupied by the Habsburg Empire, becoming hunting home for the imperial family members. In 1962 the building was restored from the cellar level to the roof, thus entering the cultural tradition of the city as ancient medieval hostel.
