I wanted to send a few pictures to give an overview of our amazing trip and all the wonderful friends we made along the way. Just one week ago today, we were on a plane headed back home from Bucharest.

We could not have been in more loving hands than with our wonderful guides – Ovidiu (George). He is one of the kindest people I have ever known, and having him there with us on those first days made all the difference.  As you know, the weather was challenging in Brasov, and this men lent us his own jackets and helped in any way he could–both even carried Roman for considerable distance when the excitement and exertion of the activities became too much. Ovidiu absolutely went above and beyond any reasonable expectation to help make our journey comfortable and fun. Our mountain guide Cosmin was unbelievable. What a privilege it was to have that hiking experience with such a knowledgeable and entertaining guide. As you can see from the pictures, the children loved that experience!

In short, I just wanted to thank you once again for EVERYTHING. The best part of the trip, by far, was meeting the many wonderful guides and hearing their unique perspectives on the history and culture of these beautiful places. They were, without fail, kind, knowledgeable and exceptional in every way!
