Day 1: Starting from Bucharest, through the Olt valley the first stop will be the monastery from Curtea de Arges. Transfer and overnight in Sibiu
Day 2: Walking tour in Sibiu, visit of Corvin Castle from Hunedoara wich is one of the most beautiful gothic castles of Europe and the town of Alba Iulia that hosts the biggest Vauban style fortress in the Eastern Europe, symbol of the Romanian unification. Overnight in Sibiu
Day 3: Turda salt mine visit and transfer with overnight in Maramures. Day 4: Maramures tour: monastery of Barsana, Merry Cemetery, wooden churches. Ovenight in Maramures.
Day 5: Maramures tour with local handiwork visits. Transfer and overnight in Bucovina
Day 6: Classic painted monasteries tour in Bucovina: Humor, Voronet, Moldovita, Sucevita, passing through picturesque villages rich in history, culture and folk art. Besides the monasteries we will have a quick immersion at the atelier of black pottery in Marginea and the egg painting atelier of Vama. Overnight in Bucovina
Day 7: We visit the monastery of Agapia, one of the largest monasteries in Romania which is home to more than 300 nuns, and transfer to Sighisoara through the Bicaz Gorges and Red Lake. Overnight in Sighisoara
Day 8: Tour of Sighisoara and visit the fortified church of Prejmer (UNESCO monument) and the city of Brasov, one of Romania’s most visited cities. Overnight in Brasov
Day 9: Tour of Brasov and visit of Bran Castle, better known as Dracula’s Castle and the Peles Castle, probably the most beautiful castle in Romania. Overnight in Bucharest Day
10: Guided tour of the city of Bucharest, a metropolis with 2 million inhabitants and the capital of Romania. Free afternoon. End of the journey.
